Heat Pump Operator Training Resources

BCNPHA has developed practical guides to help building operators, technicians, and housing providers understand, operate, and maintain heat pump systems with confidence. Each resource provides a clear overview of the technology, best practices for daily operation, templates for commissioning, maintenance schedules to extend equipment life, and troubleshooting advice for common issues.  

The guides were produced by BC Non-Profit Housing Association, with the content created by SES Consulting, as part of the City of Vancouver non-profit retrofit program (NRRG). Technologies include mini-split heat pumps, Variable Refrigerant Flow, heat pump water heaters, and heat pump rooftop units and makeup air units.
